SwimWell online

Learn how to use our online service to enrol in a course, book a swim assessment, manage your courses, and update your direct debit details.

Our SwimWell online service allows you to:  

  • enrol for the first time in entry-level courses

  • book a swim assessment

  • view current courses

  • change the day and time of your child’s course

  • view their progress in their current course

  • move your child up into the next course once they’ve been assessed and passed the level requirements

  • update your direct debit details.

To withdraw from a course, please email swimwell@wcc.govt.nz

Adapted and private lessons

For adapted lessons for swimmers with disabilities and private lessons, contact the pool where you have lessons to make enrolment changes.

How to create an online account  

If you’re new to SwimWell, you’ll be asked to create an account when you’re enrolling or booking a swim assessment. Or you can create an online account first.

You need to enter your email address and date of birth. Your date of birth is required to check your age as only adults aged 18 years and over can create an account. The date of birth is confidential and will not recorded.  

Once you’ve created an account, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to set your password. Once your password is set, you’re ready to go.  

How to use the online service 

When you use the online service, the changes you make to your course details will be immediate and you will receive a confirmation email of the change. 

  1. After creating your account, go to the Log in  page.

  2. Once you’ve logged in, go to the ‘Menu’.

  3. Next, click or tap on ‘SwimWell and Rec Centre courses’ to access  your SwimWell details.
